We•Are•Electric
When not making ads, I’m in the studio making music - sometimes old-school hip-hop, sometimes melancholy indie-pop, depending on my frame of mind. I’ve been mad for electronic music ever since I was a kid, but none of the kids at school wanted to be in a band, so I got machines to do it instead. The great thing about synthesizers is they obey your every command, and they never rock up stoned to rehearsals, or sleep with your girlfriend. All that came later when I joined a band. If you’ve visited this page before, you’ll have noticed the name for the project changes from time to time. Previously, it was The Cuckoo Stone, named after a historic site near Stonehenge. Today, it’s We•Are•Electric, because I’m feeling Gary Numan vibes. Tomorrow, it could be something like Bikini Girl Massage. I can’t decide. Either way, stay tuned - website coming soon.
